U16 Saturday CUP
Ballymun 1-2 Leixlip.
2 evenly matched teams, lovely morning, humdinger of a game. Real end to end game with chances for both teams, 1-1 @ halftime a poachers goal from Adam Dagg after a mistake from the keeper brought things level, second half was all about who wanted it more and we certainly wanted it tackles, bodies on the line and a lovely finish from Rob Paoleti settled it, we had to really dig in last 10 minutes but a sweet victory against the current league leaders.

Sfai Cup. U16. Leixlip Utd 2 Knocknacarra FC 0. A tight enough game Knocknacarra started the brighter and went close on a couple of occasions to opening the score. Leixlip eventually settled and start to apply pressure on Knocknacarra and were rewarded when Albert Edet rose highest to head home Jamie Byrne's deep cross. Knocknacarra came out strong again after the break and went close with an effort that just cleared the crossbar. Leixlip took over again and after going close on a couple of occasions Adam Rock headed home a corner from Sam Kelly. Leixlip bossed the remainder of the game and went close to increasing their lead but some good saves by the keeper and some dogged defending kept the score at 2-0. We move onto another home tie in the last 8 against either Mullingar Ath or St Brendan's Park at the end of March. Big thanks to all who came up today to support the lads, it was a great help.

Sfai Cup. U15 Leixlip Utd 1 Bellurgan Utd 2.  A really strong physical Bellurgan came out on top after a really hard fought battle. Bellurgan started very brightly and opened the scoring following a corner kick the ball ping pinged around before the Bellurgan striker slammed the ball into the back of the net. Leixlip gradually got themselves back into the game and after some good play down the right Dylan Barrett put the ball into the box and Cormac Flanagan finished from close range. The second half was nip and tuck until an unfortunate collision inside the box resulted in a penalty for Bellurgan. The penalty was clinically dispatched by the Bellurgan no 10. Despite Leixlip's best efforts Bellurgan hung on for a deserved win.

Under 18 girls premier
DLR Waves 1 Leixlip utd 0
What a game out in Ballybrack today. We came up against a powerhouse in womens/girls football today and we left feeling robbed. They scored in the 90th minute completely against the run of play. We dominated for large periods in both halves and had several chances but just couldn't find the finishing touch. A great team performance and hopefully we will continue to compete at this level.

U14-6
Leixlip 2-2 Finglas Celtic
We decided to give today's opponents a 20 minute 2 goal head start before we decided we'd start playing, once we did though we really played some nice football a goal from Sean Duffin made it 2-1 and we really should have been 2-2 at halftime. An end to end second half but we were creating chances we got a deserved equaliser from the peno spot and we went for the win but wasn't to be.

U20 League result:
Leixlip 4-0 Raheny Utd
Really good today , score flattered them.
Came at the cost of a few injuries though!
