SafeTALK Suicide Alertness Training β Free Community Session
Our club is pleased to share details of an upcoming SafeTALK β Suicide Alertness for Everyone training session taking place locally in February.
SafeTALK is a practical, evidence-based programme that helps participants recognise when someone may be experiencing thoughts of suicide and shows how to connect them to appropriate suicide first-aid resources.

π§ What the Training Covers
Participants will learn four simple, practical steps to:
- Recognise signs that someone may be thinking about suicide
- Respond in a supportive and confident way
- Connect the person to appropriate suicide-prevention supports
π₯ Who Can Attend
- Open to anyone aged 18 or over
- Please note: this training is not suitable for anyone bereaved by suicide within the past 12 months

This SafeTALK training is coordinated by Breaking Through, who deliver Suicide Intervention & Prevention training on behalf of the Health Service Executive as part of Irelandβs national suicide-reduction strategy, Connecting for Life.
