U13 Major Boys St. Francis 1 Leixlip United 2.
Francis were on top from the start and we struggled to get out of our own half. They took the lead midway through the first half when they broke away from our corner. A long clearance over the top and their striker lobbed our advancing keeper. A few strong words at half time seemed to do the trick. 20 seconds into the second half Conall Boland picked up the ball and took on the centre half who brought him down. Conall stepped up and confidently tucked away the penalty. We pushed for a second goal and got our reward with 2 minutes left. Ollie Newport cut in from the right-hand side and his left foot shot went in off the far post. A well deserved win after a very strong second half performance.

U11 Boys Brendan Coyne Cup Leixlip United 12 Balbriggan 0.
Bit of a miss match against a team from the league below, who to their credit kept battling til the end. A very strong 2nd half from us sees us progress to the quarter finals. Goalscorers: Liam Mcloughlin x3, Ollie Dagg Moran x3, Tyler Browne x2, Dylan Tighe x2, Bowe Kelly and Evan O Sullivan

U15 Major Boys Stella Maris 2 Leixlip United 1.
A testing start saw our Keeper make a few good saves as they put us under pressure from the long ball, against the run of play we should’ve gone 1 nil up when Daniel Bradley was put through and toe poked just wide of the on rushing keeper. They then went 1 up from a contentious corner which is where we missed our two big starting center backs as we failed to clear the first ball and didn’t react to the second 1 nil Stella. We came back into it and after 25 minutes equalised when a shot from Oisin Kelly was picked up by Nathan Byrne 6 yards out and he finished. We could’ve been ahead before halftime when a good move saw Senan Moriarty shoot just over from the edge of the box. The second half we tried our best but it just wasn’t the day for us.

U11 Boys Sunday League Cup 1 second round Baldoyle United 1 Leixlip United 2.
Lads had to wait for their 1st competitive match as they got bye in 1st round of the cup.  Played very well with 8 players in tough conditions. Goalscorers: Dylan O Murchu and an O.G, Penalty saved by Luke Araujo.

U16 Premier Boy League Cup Portmarnock AFC 2 Leixlip United 3 AET.
In very windy conditions on a surprisingly good pitch our lads made very hard work of this cup tie. Portmarnock played with the wind and had most of the early play eventually going ahead after we had spurned numerous opportunities to clear the ball. We tried to get back into the game but a long kick out undone us once more and we were two down. Playing with the wind we pushed hard and eventually Aaron McDonagh slotted home from 10 yards. We were well on top now but some poor passing and poor finishing left us very frustrated. With 10 minutes to go we eventually scored when from a corner Fiacra Martin headed on and Adam Adiboye knocked it home from about a yard out. We were well on top now but they held on for extra time. More of the same followed until 3 minutes from the end Ryan Good slotted home the winner. Portmarnock made one last effort to bring the game to penalties and only for a brilliant reflex save from Tom Harrington they would have succeeded. Into the semi final but we will need to improve if we want to get to a final.

U17 Boys Div 2 Leixlip United 2 Blessington 3.
The lads went 1 nil up after 10 minutes through a great finish into the top corner by Nathan Elliott after good battling by Leon McDonnell to set up the chance. Then the lads fell asleep and Blessington equalised from a short corner that we didn't defend. Leixlip went 2-1 up early in the second half when McDonnell headed home a free kick by Oisin Tallin. That should have been the game but failure to clear a corner, and then a defensive error let Blessington back into the game and to finish as 3-2 winners. Leixlip had chances to equalise but couldn't convert. Disappointing result but we'll learn the lessons and move on.

U16 Boys Masterson Cup Mountview 2 Leixlip United 4.
Leixlip put in one of their best performances of the season. Both teams started well. Leixlip stronger in the early exchanges deservedly took the lead through Fionn Egan smashing in off the cross bar after fine work by Alex Tighe. More opportunities came our way but Mountview’s goalkeeper, who had a stormer, kept us out.  A loud and physical Mountview were well up for this game. Going close a couple of times before snatching an equaliser. The onslaught continued, Leixlip’s defence absorbing most of this pressure but eventually cracked conceding a second. 2-1 at halftime. What a reaction in the second half from Leixlip. The boys got into the match scoring 3 goals without response. MOTM Alex Tighe fastest to a loose ball, Fionn Egan direct from a free kick right on the edge of the box and finally Gabby Floroiu with a cool striker’s finish that essentially broke Mountview’s spirit. There were standout performances across the pitch. Jamie McInerney battled tirelessly, Craig Comerford and Aaron Backman were rock-solid in defence, and Ryan Colgan provided a crucial assist when it mattered most. Captain Oscar Butler led by example in midfield alongside two-goal Egan, but Alex Tighe was outstanding for us today, playing in three different positions, scoring, assisting, and causing Mountview all sorts of problems. A brilliant win…on to the next round!

U17 Girls league cup: Ashbourne 0 Leixlip United 11.
